Classes

Mysore Practice
This is an instructor-assisted self-practice class that allows each student to work at his or her own individual pace—the way it is taught in Mysore, India by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The advantages of this type of instruction are that students of all levels can practice together, and there is no need to "keep up" with the rest of the class. Students will start their practices on a rolling admittance basis with assigned practice intervals (e.g., 7am group, 7:15am group). Please have at least the Primary Series memorized.

Full Vinyasa Primary Series - Led Class
The Primary Series, referred to as Yoga Chikitsa, detoxifies and aligns the body. Full vinyasa Primary Series is the unabridged form of the vinyasas. The number of movements required to get in and out of each pose increases in the full vinyasa format, allowing the student to see how the series is practiced in its classical form. This led class is a wonderful complement to the Technique & Adjustments class. Appropriate for students with at least 6 months of Ashtanga yoga experience.

Technique & Adjustments
Continuing the theme of full vinyasa, Lino will introduce full vinyasa for the Intermediate (2nd) Series in this special workshop class. Students who are working on Intermediate Series may find this class particularly helpful for maintaining the proper vinyasa (breath-movement flow) in that portion of their practice. The second half of the class will be devoted to principles of hands-on adjustments. The Primary Series Full Vinyasa class (above) is recommended to familiarize students with the techniques to be discussed in this class. Recommended for teachers and serious students.
