Sacred Journeys offers both weekend retreats in the UK as well as week-long holidays in Europe. The teachers are direct students of Pattabhi Jois, and the company was founded by Sally Griffyn, author of the book Ashtanga Yoga for Women. The next retreat (June 18-22), held just outside Glastonbury, England, will be a summer solstice event with Roberta Giannotti, Joey Miles and Claire Hopkins. As well as the yoga, Sacred Journeys brings a creative element to the retreats which is in tune with the seasonal cycles and offers participants the chance to use other bodywork and ritual techniques.
