1. Happy 90th Birthday, Guruji! Sri
Krishna Pattabhi Jois was born on the full moon day of July 1915 (Guru
Purnima day). This year, that
day falls on July 21st. To learn more about Guruji's amazing life and

2. The
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Charitable Trust
In honor of 90 years, and a life-long dedication to spreading the teachings
of Yoga worldwide, AYRI is pleased to announce the creation of THE SRI K. PATTABHI
JOIS CHARITABLE TRUST. To date, the fund has raised over $20,000 US, and is
nearing one million rupees. The time to give is not over. Contributions for
Guruji's 90th birthday will be accepted until July 1st, 2005. To support the
Sri K Pattabhi Jois Charitable Trust, and to honor Guruji in a way that demonstrates
to his family—and to his community—how deeply respected and loved
he is abroad, please join our worldwide appeal. Questions can be answered by
writing to gurujipurnima@gmail.com.

3. Ashtanga
Yoga Space, Sydney
We are happy to announce that Ashtanga Yoga Space has taken over
running the Yoga school in the premises where Yoga
Moves has been established
over the past ten years in Sydney, Australia.
We will follow the tradition of Yoga Moves of offering excellent teaching
in traditional Ashtanga Yoga, as taught by Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois at
the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, India. Much will be unchanged
and follow the great concept built by Eileen Hall over the years, classes,
timetables and courses will remain the same.
We are also happy that most of the teachers have chosen to stay with
Ashtanga Yoga Space in order to continue to offer the great teachings
you have all be accustomed to from Yoga Moves. See www.ashtangayogaspace.com for
