Beginning sometime in February for 4 months in Boston (more or less time is negotiable). Our current Mysore-style teacher is returning to Mysore in February and we are looking for someone to come and fill in for him. One of our teachers will be back from Mysore is May so we would need someone at least until then. If you want to come for less or more time (minimum one month), we would be open to that. Our students are dedicated and are very open to visiting teachers. Our studio is a light filled third floor loft with hardwood floors in the heart of Boston close to public transportation. In the heart of the young & vibrant Lower Haight mix of small businesses & urban residences. Studio: Newly equipped with mats, blankets, belts & blocks. The 16' x 24' room has lots of natural light & clear floor space of 12.5' x 23.5’ or 294 sq. ft. Accommodates about 10 + students, but probably works best with smaller classes. Also good for private classes or special events. Rate: $15/hr, or $20/hr for “prime time”, e.g. weeknights after 6pm. We print flyers for teachers to use to promote their class. Teachers: We're looking for all types of teachers: beginning teachers wanting to start with a small class; experienced ones looking for a nice location for a small focused workshop or on-going class.
