1. AYRI News: The shala will be closed from December 15, 2007 to January 6, 2008 and there will be no teaching during that period.

4. Ashtanga Yoga Self-Practice Group and Co-operative Studio in Monterey, California
Information available at www.ashtangamonterey.com. We would like to invite inquiries from authorized and certified teachers who are interested in teaching workshops for our group.

5. World Yoga Day 2008 - Teachers Needed
The World Yoga Day is an international fundraising event in which yoga teachers and centres around the world donate their time and space to a two-hour yoga session which is devoted to human rights. The date chosen for 2008 is Sunday the 3rd of February, and all proceeds of the event will go to Amnesty International. We are now inviting teachers of all styles of yoga from all over the world to join us for the biggest yoga fundraising event ever. See the World Yoga Day website at www.world-yoga-day.net for more information--and, if you are a yoga teacher or studio owner--to add your name to the list of participants.

6. We are pleased to invite fellow Ashtangis to a new Ashtanga community website, www.livingmysore.com!
LivingMysore is an online community resource for students of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Come and connect with Ashtangis around the world who have been inspired by the experience of Mysore; the place and the practice. Find insights, inspiration, and wisdom shared through word, image and art, or just find someone to room with when you are in Mysore. We need help to build this community online, so please send us articles for our magazine and send your photos for our online gallery. Most importantly, come visit!
