1. AYRI News: The shala will be closed from December 15, 2007 to January 6, 2008 and there will be no teaching during that period.

5. World Yoga Day 2008 - Teachers Needed
The World Yoga Day is an international fundraising event in which yoga teachers and centres around the world donate their time and space to a two-hour yoga session which is devoted to human rights. The date chosen for 2008 is Sunday the 3rd of February, and all proceeds of the event will go to Amnesty International. We are now inviting teachers of all styles of yoga from all over the world to join us for the biggest yoga fundraising event ever. See the World Yoga Day website at www.world-yoga-day.net for more information--and, if you are a yoga teacher or studio owner--to add your name to the list of participants.

6. Sukko Spa & Wellness, the largest spa in Phuket, Thailand (www.sukkospa.com) is hiring an Ashtanga Yoga teacher who can start teaching from January 1st, 2008. A one-year commitment is preferred. Accommodation and vehicle provided. Contact: practice@ashtangayogabangkok.com.

7. Experienced Ashtanga teacher needed to cover led primary series class twice a week at Yoga Jones in Ventura, California from January 3rd to March 20th. Please email Tina Chappel at tinachappel@sbcglobal.net.
