The son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Manju Jois has taught the true Mysore Ashtanga method for over 40 years. Manju's presence in the United States since 1975 has significantly affected the growth of Yoga in America. In his numerous workshops and intensives throughout the world, Manju introduces pranayama and Vedic chantings to teach in the ancient tradition. Thus, he brings to his students the benefits of Ashtanga Yoga as well as a deeper understanding of the lineage.
